A big hand to all those who came last night at the Stud. Wonderful job everyone, we'll have to do this again sometime. Check back soon for some video of us playing while the very graceful Stacey Swan bounces off the walls for all to see.

Now that everyone's done blowing jesus, we have a few new things up on the site and a lot coming down the chute. Yes, that chute. We're recording songs, filming a video, weeping, and preparing for our show on January 27th at the Stud with Moira Scar, Prizehog and the Broads. That is gonna be one sick fiesta.
We now have a cache of in-progress demos and snippets of what is shaping up to be our first full-length, and we're now letting some of that ooze out into the world. The first drop is a little ditty with the working title of Eric. It's called that because it came from a dream. You can see it now on the MUSIC page.
In addition to all that there's a new video of us playing at the Elbo Room, another new song that's called "Romance" until we dream of a better title. That's on the also-new VIDEO page.
Lastly, a new page that will contain work by ZOO's own Andy Tisdall, a young warlock that Newsweek has called "the greatest hotcake flipper since the Civil War." So that's here.

Ammo just puked in the middle of practice. We've been all over the place, recording weird things, writing words to go on top of those weird things, figuring out how to reproduce that and then calling it a song. It's how we do. We're also constantly in the process of updating our studio, getting new goodies and getting rid of the old so look for our recordings to be improving hopefully. Maybe, if people are interested, we'll post some half-baked demos on here for your pleasure.
These songs go through a lot of evolution and the main way we evolve is by playing live, so check us out IRL to see what I mean. We're playing in Oakland Saturday (10/23) at the Uptown, and on Thursday November 11th we've got a date set for the Hemlock, but we don't know who we're playing with yet so that's also exciting. Maybe we can play with you or maybe just with your hair while you sleep.
Also a reminder: If you're in a band and want some good recordings for cheap, you can do a lot worse than trying out our new Studio Tummy Sharks. More info on this soon, but if you contact us now you can get it a lot cheaper than you'll be able to after everyone knows how sick it is.

Got a few performances coming up in the next month, first in Alameda next week in case you are going to be in Alameda, then the week after that at the Knockout with our best band friends Entropy Density, and then at El Rio on 9/15 with our other best band friends Swanifant. Check out our shows page for details. PS thanx to everyone who made the Levi's print shop completely awesome, and if you weren't there then you have no idea what having fun inside a Levi's print shop looks like.
WE HAVE RISEN LIKE JESUS AND WE WILL TRIUMPH AS SUCH... Playing our first show in over two months (ammo had spine surgery) this SUNDAY! July 25, 2010 at the Knockout. with a band called Clouds. They probably sound like clouds... the kinds that resemble abe lincoln and move to your modest heartbeat. Reference our shows page!
We're playing some shows in Southern California from 3/16-3/19 and when we get back on Saturday March 20 we will be playing at an awesome multi-disciplined gallery experience thing called PRACTICAL MAGIC. You can check out all the dates on the shows page.
